Improvisation
I have been a part of the improv community for almost 7 years now, starting in the end of high-school and performing all through my college career.
I’ve performed in over 100 shows, with audiences up to 300-400 people, and as small as 2 people. I’ve gotten the chance to compete a few times in the College Improv Tournament, win first place at the Improv Competition at KCACTF two years in a row, and travel to a multitude of college improv festivals. These festivals included Victoria Canada, Vancouver Canada, and Alberta Canada, all at their respective universities.
Fueled by my passion for education and improv, I recently began writing a book about Improv Comedy. This is an instructional book aimed towards late high-school or early college kids on how to do Improv, paired with exercises to build those skills, as well as some improv history and personal ideas about the space. I've just finished about 32 pages, still working to add more and hopefully publish. Feel free to take a look at it below!
